The Technical Booth is where the Stage Manager and the Lighting and Sound Operators sit during the run of the play.  It contains the sound and lighting boards that run the lights and the sound for the play, and the intercom system that the Stage Manager uses to call the play.

The Technical Booth is locked to ensure that only authorized people can enter.  The person who can change the code is the Building Director or Technical Director.

Members of the Board and Executive that have the code are the Building Director, Technical Director, Director(s) of Production and Administrator.

Members of the production team that are generally given the code are the Production Manager, the Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Sound Designer, Lighting Board Operator and Sound Board Operator.  Other members of the team may only go into the booth by permission of the Stage Manager.

There is no food or drink allowed in the Technical Booth.  The Stage Manager is expected to monitor this policy.
